It's been quite a while since I've posted. Back to back to back to back deadlines make for a very crazy Cheyenne.

Now that I've finished Zombies Sold Separately, I'm taking a look at changing my website design. Something brand spanking new that isn't so dark and that will reflect my personality. I'm tired of black. I want color!

This is very brief because I thought it . . . unusual . . . that time was spent on a hypothetical zombie attack by mathematical researchers in Canada. "The scientific paper is published in a book - Infectious Diseases Modelling Research Progress."

I'm not sure if this topic has been brought up in a while, or at least recently. Like probably most of the writers on FFF, I've been buried under an intense deadline.

Which I'm thrilled to say I'm going to finish the book today! All I have left to do on NO WEREWOLVES ALLOWED is  the backfill, tweaking, smoothing...and then it's off to my editor. ( Read more... )

Today I totally rocked at writing. When the writing goes well, it's such a high to me. I bounce around, I'm happy, and I'm generally a fun person to be around.

That brings up a question:

Gut instinct. While I'm working on another book, my mind is churning over the book I'll be writing next. All but one time, out of 40 books and novellas, I've had the first chapter written in my mind before I started.

I just got this cover yesterday and I so love it. This is the first book in my new "Night Tracker" series that comes out in 2009.( Demons Not Included . . . )

It's interesting to see what has become cliché in writing. Things that were once fresh but now have been done to death.
